Holding an option
hub/holding-option/Holding an option in our system takes less than 3 minutes!
1. Just select the departure you would like to hold & click on “request”.
2.Follow your usual steps.
Add a reference and your personal business email address, as this is the email where all correspondence will be sent, including hold confirmation and release reminder.
The time limit is set by default and is dynamic. For all holds made up to 3 months prior to departure, the system will give you one working week (5 days) before the option releases automatically.
For cruises departing 2 months or less than the request date, the system will give between 4 days and up to 24 hours timelimit, based on proximity. Please note that all holds release at noon ECT (GMT-5).
When selecting only one space in a cabin, the system will automatically consider it as a single use cabin, which in most cases means a single use supplement. In most of our boats, in twin cabins, we allow guests of the same gender to share a cabin to waive the single supplement.
For this, please select on the right side of the screen either Single use, Share Male or Share Female, you will notice that when selecting share male or female, the rate will change consequently.
Finally click on check details to see a summary of your order including: Boat, itinerary, dates, number of guests, rates, and time limit. Click on HOLD and you are done!
You will be redirected to the dashboard, where you can now find your recent hold in the “active quotes” list.
